I mean Tuesday. Photo Tuesday. Sheesh. It’s easy to get mixed up around here. So I decided I am going to add Photo Phuesday Tuesday to the blog in addition to Music Monday.

These pictures are all from our night at the Crystal Ballroom here in Portland on Saturday. In between bands, we would be talking super fast cause we were “Mormon-High” (Hahaha) or taking a ton of crazy pics. We were sitting in the balcony and making up stories about the people we saw. Giving a girl who smiled a lot the name “Confidence” and a boy with a monstrous jaw beard “Amish Drunk”. Yes he was drinking a lot. Anyway, leaning over the balcony’s edge I snapped this one above of the bar. People in line waiting to buy relaxation in a cup and the lights in the dark room made for good pics.

And below we have the very ugly chandeliers, but they don’t look so bad in pictures. Its always amazing to me how incredible our eyes actually are. You can see colors and distances that you cant through our camera. The glass on this light was an awful hot pink ad purple. Something resembling Mardi Gras. But look how muted it looks in the picture.

And this is the same chandelier with longer exposure and twisting the camera side over side. I really like the smokey-ness of the lights.

Ok, thats all for now. Maybe I’ll make up another assigned day. Like “Sigh of relief Saturday”. Sharing anything that has given me relief. hmm… I like that.
