A roland update….

Roland is doing great. We had a consult with the Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist last week and we have now scheduled his “surgery” for putting tubes in his ear drums. Which is hardly even a surgery. We have heard great feedback from everyone we have talked to about it. So we are excited for the prospect of no more  ear infections. We shall see. During the consultation, they tested him to see if there was any hearing loss involved. There was 50% loss on right side, and 30% loss on left. Dont worry grandmas and grandpas, its just like being under water. Once the tubes get placed, they will drain the liquid that is residing behind the eardrum and it will be like he just pulled himself out of the water.

In other Roland news, he FINALLY broke through his bottom teeth. Those 2 teeth that have been haunting him for a while surprised my fingers the other day as I was feeding him a peice of chicken. “OW! Oh my Gosh! HES GOT TEETH!” Hes been workin on the 2 top ones too. But for now, he is happy.

Other than all that, he is just as happy as can be and growing like crazy. Real long naps = growth spurts. But he is all ready in 18 mo. clothes. So he cant grow much faster! He’s only 9 months for goodness sakes!
