When we went to CA last month, I flew with the kids on my own. The flight down was pretty decent (Thank goodness for jets blue’s satellite TV). But for the flight back, I was a little worried. Timing of the day was worse and …

I was just a little on the edge of my seat, having been on Mom duty all week. So the day before our flight home, I went to Lakeshore Learning Center, which is one of my favorite teaching material stores. One thing I found was these animal masks that have brought our kids hours of entertainment. Plus, they look really cute in em too, huh?

Roli’s pictures are my favorite. He walks around with the chicken one on while saying “ooo ooo” we have to remind him, hes wearing a chicken. “Not monkey Roli, Chicken. Baak Baak! Chicken!!” Then he started barking.

That comment about how Roli barks with the chicken on his head reminded of something Brett shared with me, that in Swedish, pigs go “nuff nuff” instead of “oink oink.” I thought that was hilarious, but there are whole web-sites that talk about how different languages imitate animals. Funny, huh?

That shot of N with the mask on her head is just way too cute. You can hardly look at it, it’s so cute.
Lots of Love,
