I have stretched my lobes again, and I am having so much fun with this concept. Only because of the beautiful things I find to stick in the holes.

A few months ago I found Lisa Marie aka: CurlsNSwirls on Etsy and fell in love with her Classic Hoops.

They are so not hippy-ish, and all the same color. LOVE them. So I bought a few pairs. One for each size of gauge till I got to my desired size. Now I am at a 2 gauge (Easily fits a Q-tip, but not big enough for a pencil) and turns out its the perfect size for more adorable earrings!! Like these…

CurlsNSwirls is closing her shop (look for her clearance items here) But she does have another shop started – JahKahBees. She has some gauge jewelry, but also has regular gauge (22 gauge?) and some very pretty other things. I am excited to see how her new shop builds.

With my last order from Lisa, I gave her a few ideas, told her about myself a little more and said “ok, let-er-roll” And she replied with “I have a great idea and I’m not going to let you see them before I send them.” Let me tell you, every day for that whole week was like Christmas. “Is my package here yet? Is my package here yet?” As I speed walk to my mailbox. Then the day I was sure they were being delivered, my day went like this:

11:00am – go to the mailbox. Wasn’t there yet.
Noon – go to the mailbox. Wasn’t there yet.
1:00pm – go to the mailbox… and you guessed it – wasn’t there yet.
4:00 – Ethan walked in and I asked “did you get the mail yet?” He answered with a grin “Yup.” (He knew why I was asking)
4:02 – I ripped open the package with my name on it. Before I even get them out of the packaging all the way, I squeal. With a HUGE grin and excited laughter I say (probably to loudly) “I LOVE HER!!!” (Meaning Lisa of course)

Here is what I pulled out:

Aren’t they incredible? She is so amazing!!! She is now selling these in JahKahBees – just in case you want a pair too. After I thanked her for them she asked me to model the earrings for her – so here are some Pics from that “shoot” (With photographer Ethan)

Lisa and I have been in communication I think once a week since I first found her on Etsy in the beginning of June. I am not quite sure if she would feel the same, but I have this desire to go to her Washington studio (just a few hours from me) and grab her for a hot chocolate, or bring her to lunch or something. This is one reason I LOVE Etsy. I get to know the person who I am buying from. I am much more likely to buy repeatedly from someone I know. Not just because I know them, but because I trust them.

The only down fall? Because I know her, and like her stuff so much, I want to give her my money all the time. Meaning of course, I am addicted.
