So, Maybe you know, maybe you dont: I dont like yogurt. But I want to. I even looked into making my own. A few years ago, I found Trader Joes Honey Greek Yogurt and found I really liked it. Smooth, and sweet without giving you a sore throat. But it is so heavy and full of things that will make you fat. Like…..well…..fat. So I was on the hunt again.
Taking note of sugar names and content I searched and searched. I found myself going to new stores just to check out their yogurt selections. Always disappointed. Last week I landed at Trader Joes (again and again) and noticed one tub I looked past (again and again) thinking I knew its type. But…. Maple… yogurt?

I’ll try it. Guess what? I LOVE IT!! Its light with just the right balance of bitter and sweet. I learned quickly, you gotta it mix when you open it for the first time so the consistency is true throughout the whole tub. I know the kids like it too cause they are asking for endless bowls of it. And arent asking for a glass of water with every bite. And boy howdy is it good with a extra crispy english muffin. Mmmm…..

I always tease my family for being food snobs, but I think I am one of them. I am now a chocolate snob (thanks a lot Ann), a bread snob (thanks a lot Ethan), and a Yogurt snob (thanks a lot Me.) Whats should I test next? Any suggestions of finer things to learn of?

Thank you for this blog, I am also on a yogurt hunt! I love the Trader Joe’s nonfat french vanilla (yogurt fat also sticks to me like glue, so I must go nonfat..), and now I want to look into the maple flavor.

That is my favorite TJ’s yogurt, I just wish they made it with a little less fat
