So it looks as though Neela is tapping into her name-sake’s culture. Maybe she will want to be my travel mate later when I actually get to go to India. If she is anything then like she is now, she will fall in love with the traditional women’s clothing and never want to leave. She will be my fabric store buddy. Oh, and you will want to click the “more” button right……… there —>
See? it was worth clicking on huh?

Also, we have been potty training Neela. She wears big girl underpants now and we sit her on the toilet every half hour, but have yet to celebrate the purpose of sitting on the toilet in the first place. With frequent water breaks for everyone, I am very surprised she has yet to succeed. Instead, she wakes up from her diapered sleeps with a very soggy diaper. Today she woke up from her nap totally soaked, yet her diaper was dry. It was bizarre. Her clothes were soaked in addition to her bed. Even her shirt! but her diaper? not a wet spot at all. I have come to the conclusion that Neela is magic. I just hope her canteen bladder will be able to pass on the oppurtunity for UTI.
