Well for today anyway. “Less words, more pictures.” I am in CA visiting my family, here is what we have been up to. (You are gonna make it through this entry. Theres a photo prize at the end for you.)

My brother, Eric took Elliott surfin. From what I gather Elliott did pretty well. It took him 6 or 7 walks down to the water from the sand bar to be brave enough to get in. Then he rode some small white wash while on his belly. The water didnt go to far before it got to shallow, dragging the fins into the sand, then stopping. Then Elliott fell off. (I hope I am relaying that correctly) Which made him bummed and announced that he didnt like surfing. When I asked if he will try again, he said “Yes, but I have to get a little older.” I think half the fun was just hangin out with uncle Eric. Elliott’s whole personality changes and demeanor is different when my brothers come around. He gets very mature all of a sudden, putting his hands on his hips a lot, even talking in a deeper voice. He gives a lot of serious looking thumbs up and its obvious hes soaking up all the time hes gets with them. Watching all this makes me desire to live closer to the family again. That and all my mom’s hugs and head rubs. I guess the weather has a play in it too.
