Oh I love the tea-pot!! We just got another thrift store in Post Falls last year. Went about 3 weeks ago, and someone must have died to give away all their beautiful pottery. All for bout’ 3 bucks a peice… I hit the gold mine!

Ok, Elliott really doesnt have anything to do with this entry, I just wanted to share this picture. Doesnt he look older? Smokes. Time is speeding up again. There is a new goodwill around the corner from us. Pretty big, and ready to supply almost any retail need you have. Its a good one. I went with the simple intention to look for a tea pot for Neela’s up coming bday party, but I found lots of good stuff.

First of all, I found the tea pot I was looking for. Well actually found 3 of them, but I could only justify one. Here it is:

And I also found a tea cup and saucer – which I think it the best looking tea cup and saucer I have ever seen. There were 4 of them, and it took everythin in me to not get all of them. I have been fighting the urge to start collecting tea cups with matching saucers, because that is so grown up. But if I keep finding sets like these, I think I wont be able to fight it.

It seems as though I gravitate towards the cups stamped with a simple “Made in Japan” stamped on the bottom. For me, its about the shape and art work. I love the simple lines with hand painted girly flowers. I’m not to hot on the thick porcelain english flowers. And frankly that good, cause that means I have to hunt for cups if I really want them.

Any who, my other finds also included:
-An adorable skirt, with white eyelet fabric peeking out from under bright flower-like print.
-A burgundy top with little cap sleeves and lots of feminine detail across the top.
-And a black poka-dot shear button up top.

And the best part is, I got it all for $26!! WOO HOO I love Goodwill.
