When Ethan got home tonight, I was so desperate to soak up any time I got with him. (more…)
Heres a little video of neela playing with the bunny ears and her inherited doll furniture. (more…)
It’s roll call time. Since we started tracking visitors back in August of 2006, we have had nearly 10,000 people come to our site.

While the vast majority of those hits are from random surfers searching google for things like lilac flowers or furniture layout, we have some regulars.
What’s been surprising to us is how many regulars we have. Of the 120 (or so) people who come to our site every week, about 60 of you are regulars. We know a few of the full-fledged regulars (like Tatiana, Mom L, and Tyler), a couple of the semi-regulars (Like Sister Smith, TRL, and Jesh) but so many of you are silent fans known only as “24.21.95.73″ or “72.130.18.121.” There’s someone in Maryland who visits our site almost every week. We don’t know anyone in Maryland. Do we?
So this is your chance. Here is your roll call. We love you and we want to know who you are. Even if it’s a simple “hi” and even if you’ve left a comment before. If you are reading this, you MUST leave a comment.
So click here and tell us how you’re doing.

It’s about time we had a nice day. When the chance came up to take Elliott to the park, I jumped on it. I like spending time outside with this kid.
I also took a bunch of pictures, so click here to see them… (more…)
The kids are absolutely mesmerized by this video.
eerrr… Tuesday?
My friend Cat (or Meow as the kids call her), came over the other day with her dogs. Poor dogs.
Elliott got the privilege of writing on the mirror with soap crayons months ago. The first time was a prize for using the toilet for its full potential. We tried to keep the activity reserved for that, but one day I let loose, and now we have art on literally every window in the house. Here are some pictures of the art work at its best. I have yet to erase them, cause I am just so proud of his improvements. Elliott is an artist. And that means I am a gushing proud mother.
Good times from Feb28 on Vimeo.
The coolest thing about this video is that it wasnt staged at all. When I have to open the hot oven, the kids have to sit on the rug so they dont get hurt. Elliott (AKA Superman) Sat down next to Neela and started praising her for sitting down.
Along with the videos of Neela and Elliott playing, I also wanted to share some stills we have caught over the last few weeks of them together.
I have just created a category for both Ethan and I called “Music Monday” I dont know how often I will be updating it, seeing as my music life is just a little pre-occupied with family life. But I do want a place to post the new goods I find.
