This week, I was more sick then I’ve ever been in my life. It was amazing. It literally hurt to move my eyes and my toes. I was going to write an entry to tell you about my battle with the flu, but a written story couldn’t have done it justice. You gotta hear this…
(What a goofy face!)
We have a ton of footage of Neela eating, which isn’t normally very exciting. But it’s super cute so I made it funky…
I made this for Carol last Mother’s Day. Just wanted to remind everyone how much I love my Sugarbob.
A Photo Essay plus a Video!!!

Ethan’s Pumpkin

Carol’s Pumpkin

Elliott’s Pumpkin (we did the cutting, but the design was all his)

Neela’s Pumpkin (designed an carved by Carol)
Below the fold: The beginning-to-end process of finding, scooping, and carving our pumpkins.
I updated the movie slightly. I made a silly error (that’s what I get for working on it at 2:00 in the morning). You may not have noticed, but you may notice now that it’s been edited. I also upped the volume on some of the talking, so it should be easier to hear. Anyway, here is the updated version…
This was the first movie I ever created. And since the next movie you’ll see will be… ahem… related… I figured I should re-post it.

He wouldn’t be a Smith if he couldn’t name all 4 of the Beatles. Am I right?

When Carol went to work today, Elliott decided we should play outside. It was a great idea.
(the video is really choppy for some reason, [http://www.feb28.com/movies/eande.mov right-click here to download the Quicktime version])
I recently discovered a great video hosting site called "[http://www.vimeo.com/ vimeo]." It’s like [http://www.youtube.com YouTube], but a lot cleaner, smoother, and easier to use and utilize on this site.
What you see below is the most recent video, Good. I uploaded it to [http://www.vimeo.com/ vimeo] and it automatically created this Flash player. Unlike the Quicktime clips I’ve been using, these Flash movies don’t automatically load (which can slow down browsing) and can be a larger size (400×300 rateher than 320×240) without taking more time to download.
Please tell me what you think.

As an added bonus, [http://www.vimeo.com/ vimeo] will add direct links to the 5 most recent videos I’ve created in the side bar over there…

The other bonus here is that I can create a single, extremely high quality file. It will play on the website through [http://www.vimeo.com/ vimeo], and I can create a link so you can download the original. Like this… [http://www.feb28.com/movies/Good-hq.mov Right Click Here]
So, what do you think? How’s the quality? Does it load okay on your end? Is it a good idea?
