I’m not sure I ever posted this picture of me and my nephew, Scott. (Who is now ELEVEN!!!!) Its not the greatest picture of me, I know, but I LOVE Scott’s expression. Thats one of my favorite memories about living with him - He is SOOO ticklish! Its great fun. The picture is from last Christmas at my mom’s house in CA. She bought me that sweater that year, and I loved it. I think mostly because I thought I was getting away with hiding something when I wore it.

I will give $154 to anyone who can name what Elliott has drawn….
I like man-with-guitar music and I like road trips. I’m an indie rocker cliche. And I love it.

I mean Tuesday. Photo Tuesday. Sheesh. It’s easy to get mixed up around here. So I decided I am going to add Photo Phuesday Tuesday to the blog in addition to Music Monday.
So As noted in the last entry from Ethan, we had the opportunity to get free wristbands (giving us the opportunity to see any of the 18 shows a night -47 total shows- with no entry fee.) for Music Fest North West. Here’s a taste of what we got to see….

We went on a walk all around town yesterday. This was our first stop. We even ran into Cy (who was using his Cribbage winnings to buy shoes) and had lunch with him in the food court at Pioneer Place. It was an amazing day.
I love this family.
My favorite line of attack from John McCain and the Republicans is when they lose their temper over the amount of excitement and enthusiasm this campaign is generating. Millions of people have come out to show their support, have volunteered, and have donated, and the McCain campaign runs ads attempting to mock us as if it’s a bad thing that the democratic process is finally working again. As if the race for the presidency is determined by who is the more ordinary of the candidates. Well, we’ve suffered through eight years of an ordinary president and we cannot afford another four. It’s no secret that Barack Obama is an extraordinary human being. It’s time we had an extraordinary president.
Inspired by a good friend, I thought this might be fun to compile today. Like Steve, I’m not a shy or secretive guy, so much of this might be old news. Also, I am in the habit of telling the same stories over and over and over again, so some of this might be downright boring. Narcissism: ON!
(I slightly updated my Mount Rushmore of movies)
• Despite being a music junky, I am completely tone-deaf and can play no instruments. I have, however, been in at least 6 imaginary bands.
